| Julie Mullinax was born in the Houston area and after going to college she headed back to her home. Julie loves music, children and having fun. She went to Texas Tech University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Music with an All-Level Teaching Certificate. After she graduated in 2002, she moved to Katy and began working for Katy ISD. While teaching in Katy, Julie has received her OAKE endorsed Kodaly Certification. During Julie’s time in Katy ISD, she has made several presentations at district meetings. She also wrote the resource binder that all elementary music teachers use in Katy, and served on the curriculum writing committee for district as well. Julie has had a dream to open a music school in the Katy Area and has made it a reality!!! |
